V Maďarsku vydal kapelník Djabe Attila Égerházi nejnovější album Special EFX na vinylu. Při této příležitosti zahrála kapela Djabe společně s Chieli v budapešťském Jazz Clubu. Muzikanti se pak rozhodli vyrazit na společné turné.

The New Yorker guitarist, composer, producer, and arranger Chieli Minucci has been the longtime leader of the Grammy-nominated jazz-fusion group SPECIAL EFX featuring Chieli Minucci, a major force on the jazz and world music scene for over 40 years.
In Hungary, the bandleader of Djabe, Attila Égerházi, released the latest Special EFX album on vinyl. On this occasion, the Djabe band played together with Chieli at the Budapest Jazz Club. They enjoyed very much the cooperation, and in 2024 completed a tour called Djabe special guest Chieli Minucci – Tour Of Waterfalls. It was a great success, and the musicians decided to go on another tour in 2025. This time they christened it to Tour of Butterflies. Djabe and Chieli also have a composition called Butterfly. The two compositions frame the show, in which Chieli Minucci, Djabe and Special EFX songs will be played.
During the 2024 tour, they made a 24 track analogue recordings at the Budapest Jazz Club.
The whole show will be released on triple LP and double CD for the 2025 tour.

Djabe is the number one representative of the Hungarian Jazz/World fusion bands. Djabe received numerous domestic and international awards. Since 1995 they released more than fifty albums all over the world. They have been performed in 44 countries at festivals, concert venues and clubs since 2001. Djabe has been working together with the world-famous Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett for more than 20 years. They played at Bounty Rock Café in 2022 with a great success.
Besides writing and performing his own music, Chieli shares his guitar brilliance throughout the entertainment world. He has recorded and performed with many top artists, such as Celine Dion, Lou Reed, Lionel Richie, Jennifer Lopez, Jewel, Mark Anthony, Michael Bolton, Rupert Holmes, Eartha Kitt, Eddie Fisher, Anastasia, as well as contemporary jazz artists Kirk Whalum, Maysa, Jeff Lorber, Norman Brown, Bernie Williams, Marion Meadows, Lao Tizer, Mindi Abair, Rick Braun, Gerald Veasley, Omar Hakim, and many others. Chieli has recently joined with legendary Hungarian rock-jazz artists, Djabe, for their upcoming 2025 European tour.
Although renowned in the jazz and pop world, Chieli is also a gifted television and film composer. He has won 3 Emmy Awards and been nominated 10 times for his eclectic compositional work. His music can also be heard on the soundtracks of the films No Country for Old Men, Bowfinger, Legally Blonde, Panic, and others.
