The double CD was recorded during the 2024 Tour Of Waterfalls in Budapest, using 24-track analogue technology. Thanks to the excellent recording and the world-renowned sound engineering work of Tamás Barabás, once again an audiophile-quality master was created. The two CDs contain the complete concert material, mostly Djabe compositions, given a new impetus and sound by Chieli Minucci. The rest of the album features Chieli Minucci’s compositions, mostly Special EFX tracks.

And of course the title track Waterfall is from both repertoires, which work equally well in this revamped, collaborative arrangement. A standout from the consistently strong programme is Chieli’s Without You, which was performed live for the first time on this tour. The mostly highly emotional compositions created a special atmosphere at each stop on the tour.

The Tour Of Waterfalls is not only the first album of Chieli’s collaboration with Djabe, but also the debut of new Djabe saxophone player Zoltán Zana. Zoli excels in both Minucci compositions and older Djabe compositions.

The final track on the second CD is the studio recording Hidden Hearts. Chieli heard Peter Kaszás playing the piano in the dressing room, recorded it on the phone, and reworked it into a composition at home in New York. The song also features Attila Égerházi and Tamás Barabás.
