Djabe has had remarkable domestic and international successes in the 25 years, since the release of their first album.
In 2000 the band won the Golden Giraffe Award of the Association of Hungarian Record Publishers, and in 2001 the eMeRTon Award of the Hungarian Radio and Television.
In 2004, they received an international PRince Award and were nominated for the album Sheafs Are Dancing the Surround Music Award in Los Angeles.
In the following years, they received special awards at festivals in Lithuania and Belarus.
Djabe has given nearly a thousand concerts in 42 countries so far, as one of the most sought-after Hungarian bands at foreign festivals.
Since 2007, they have been regularly touring and releasing records with world-renowned British guitarist Steve Hackett.
Djabe has more than 100 releases. Of these, 6 albums have been released, over the past 5 years, by Cherry Red Records in the UK and are available in stores worldwide.
On the occasion of the anniversary, Djabe will return to one of their favourite concert venues, MOMKult in Budapest, where they have recorded multiple concerts in the last 15 years.
The band will provide a comprehensive picture of all three important eras of 1996-2000, 2001-2016 and 2017-2022. In addition to the current line-up, former members of Djabe will also make an appearance. Compositions not been performed for more than 15-20 years will also be played.
The concert will be held at the MOMKult Theater Hall on March 1, 2022, 8 PM.

In addition to the most current material of The Magic Stag, the evening will guide viewers through albums and compositions that have been major milestones of the last 25 years.
The program also features compositions from the first album released 25 years ago, as the band released a refreshed and enhanced version of the first album titled, Djabe: First Album Revisited on November 25 on LP, 2CD, DVD, and high-definition digital releases.
