Djabe started the first half of 2023 very busy.
The DVD-Audio and LP version of the Before studio album was released, which the band presented in March on a Belgian and domestic tour, including in front of a full house at the BJC.
The 2007 album Legacy was released in the back catalog series on LP in February.
In April, the direct-to-disc recorded 3LP box, Art In Tone arrived. It was recorded with Zoltán Bubenyák already, at Artone Studio, Haarlem, The Netherlands.
Furthermore in May, England’s Cherry Red Records released the last year filmed and recorded Djabe & Steve Hackett: Live In Győr Blu-ray/2CD/LP, which Djabe and Steve Hackett launched on an international tour in June. They gave two sold-out concerts at the Budapest Jazz Club on two days in a row.
Djabe will return to the BJC on 6 September, where they will play songs from the Before and Art In Tone albums.
