\n\u00a0jabe in 2012 in connection with the Down And Up album release started a concert series in Hungary, Europe and Canada. The tour lasted until the summer of 2014. The gigs are often joined by friends of the band. Steve Hackett played guitar from Genesis, Gulli Briem of Mezzoforte added drums and percussion, living in New York the Canadian born saxophonist John Nugent (Tony Bennett, Ella Fiztgerald) completed the list of guests.<\/span>
\nThe Miskolc concert on 10 November 2013 was particularly unusual because the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra and S\u00e1ra Kov\u00e1cs on flute also contributed to the program.<\/span>
\nThe first item in the Live in Blue releases, the vinyl LP represents each stage line-up of the all the gigs.<\/span>
\nYou can hear the classic line-up of Djabe (Barabas, Banai, \u00c9gerh\u00e1zi, Ferenc Kov\u00e1cs, Zolt\u00e1n Kov\u00e1cs) in Los Sipos from the Miskolc concert and Life Spirit from \u00d3buda. This composition is taken from the Forward to the album, and will not appear on the other Live in Blue discs.<\/span>
\nSteve Hackett with Djabe can be heard on the Ace of Wands from Miskolc. Jacuzzi and the Overnight Sleeper are also from Miskolc. Zolt\u00e1n Kov\u00e1cs arranged and conducted the Symphony Orchestra. S\u00e1ra Kov\u00e1cs played flute and Steve Hackett acoustic guitar.<\/span>
\nDjabe in 2013 at the Pecsa Music Hall recorded the rest of this LP, where Gulli Briem and John Nugent were the guest musicians. Live in Blue Blu-Ray<\/span><\/h1>\n

This concert film was recorded in Budapest, at the Pecsa Music Hall. It was one of the live surround shows of the Down And Up album tour. The album and the tour, especially the live 5.1 audio experience meant a milestone in the band\u2019s history. At the show even the lights turned blue. This show is a really unbeatable performance in the jazz\u2009\/\u2009world scene. To enjoy the blue show, put your Blu-Ray disc into your player, sit back, relax, and turn the volume up. Live in Blue DVD<\/span><\/h1>\n

Live in Blue DVD is the fourth installment in the \u2018blue series\u2019 of Djabe. The master content of course consists of the complete recorded audio and video material of the extremely well-received Down And Up album\u2019s blue light-themed, surround gig of 2013, followed by the bonus content of the Blue Note Jazz Club performance recordings, in V\u00e1g\u00fajhely, Slovakia at November 8th, 2013. Latter gig was a joint performance with Steve Hackett. This compilation consists of songs not played at Pecsa Music Hall and primarily features Steve Hackett or Genesis compositions. In That Quiet Earth, Los Endos, Last Train To Istanbul and Walking Away From Rainbows are real fan titbits.
\n<\/span>All Live in Blue release features content not found on other discs. This DVD features a 26 minute unique material from the complete extra film of the Blue Note gig.<\/span><\/p>\n
